Iceland is not called a magical island for no reason. The landscape is a mixture of interesting phenomena such as erupting volcanoes and fire, black beaches and hot geysers, green valleys and picturesque colorful villages. If you're lucky, you can spot whales, seals and dolphins that lodge the iced waters surrounding the island. With a rental motorhome you're able to explore the main roads of the island. Route 1 is about 1300 kilometers long and offers a variety of things to see and experience. Since our rental vehicles are not four wheel drives, make sure you’ll stay on well-maintained routes. Route 1 is excellent choice if you’re first time in Iceland. Driving on highlands roads and F roads is not allowed with Touring Cars rental campers, so please take this into account when you’re planning your road trip.
