EDINBURGH, SCOTLAND FOR THE EXOTIC FANATICS
It is possible to reach Edinburgh, the most popular sight of England, from two rental stations. We therefore recommend choosing Scotland Rental Station for all the unique, yet exotic travelers whose interest is centered most likely on outdoors and who always dreamt about discovering the dramatic Northern shores with rich character.
For you, whose interest is centered more on the unbeatable, yet diverse Scotland, to pick your first-ever luxury motorhome, we recommend having a sneak peek at Edinburgh´s Castle, the Palace of Holyroodhouse, the giant Arthur´s Seat and the Calton Hill. Do you wish to know more about the typical royal atmosphere and are you greatly interested in the art behind the architectures? Don´t you worry about a thing! Scotland offers approximately 16000 historical buildings that were built in different styles.
THE NATIVE, TRADITIONAL SCOTTISH TASTE
Be a real Scottish! If the typical English breakfast did not increase your greatest interest, then the Scottish one will do so! Exceptional Scottish breakfast includes black pudding, which is quite similar to haggis, sausages with tattie scones which are served with a bit of soft butter. Don´t underestimate the power of a tattie scone for which the recipe remains a secret, and it is transferred from local grandmothers to the very next generations before getting married.
THE NATIVE, TRADITIONAL SCOTTISH CUISINE
This is the most unusual, yet 100% Scottish traditional cuisine. It is often served with mashed potatoes just to highlight the exceptional texture and magnificent taste. What is exactly haggis made of? Perhaps, you will not want to try if we tell you, but we will try! It is made of the inner organs of a sheep, mainly liver, lungs, and of course, the heart. This mixture is minced with delicious local spices and covered with (artificial) sheep stomach.
When talking about something sweet, we do not want you not to leave Scotland without filling your stomach with a delightful British staple food. The Scots have a special interest and tradition in puddings, so try the tasty toffee pudding which is actually a sponge cake with dates!
